This roadhouse, located off the beaten path in Pioneertown, has an extensive history. In 2016, Consequence of Sound named Pappy and Harriet's among the top 100 U.S. Music Venues. Music acts such as Pixies, OneRepublic, Patti Smith and many more have performed here. - even Paul McCartney!!

The Joshua Tree Retreat Center, home of the Institute of Mentalphysics, is the oldest and largest retreat center in the Western United States. As a non-profit 501(c)3, our mission is to be a retreat center for individuals and groups to create and experience new ways to approach spiritual living and personal well-being.

Gaia Villa offer Wellness retreats yer round. All retreats are open to the public.

This has quickly become a favorite of thousands to cap off their racing season. The Joshua Tree Half Marathon is a one-of-a-kind NIGHT RACE that takes you through the desert and under the stars with colorful lights leading you to the finish!

On December 1-3, 2023 Climb Smart will take place INSIDE of Joshua Tree National Park (JTNP), offering education, stewardship, and connection to the climbing community. As in years past, we’ll stay at the Indian Cove Group Campground & Amphitheater.

The annual HWY 62 Open Studio Art Tours is a one-of-a-kind experience for art lovers and art buyers to create a free customized self-guided tour of artist studios across the Morongo Basin communities: Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Pioneertown, Rimrock, Flamingo Heights, Landers, Joshua Tree, 29 Palms and Wonder Valley.
